Return, Repair & Cancellation Policy

TERMS: *Preservation process/drying will not begin until payment is received. *Changes can not be made to your order once your flowers are received by FDV. Customer must ship/drop off floral arrangements 1-4 days after event with their local provider to prevent wilting/browning flowers. It is necessary to please use overnight or 2-day shipping. If drop-off cannot be accommodated at the requested location, you are required to either arrange for shipping or drop off at the alternative location.

 

LIMITATION OF FDV’s LIABILITY:

1) Customer provided correct shipping address. Changes in address/incorrect shipping info will result in reshipping, and/or retrieving the package. Customer will be subject to pay for reshipping if this occurs. It is NOT FDV's responsibility to regain possession of package sent to incorrect address. 2) FDV is not responsible for customer shipping fresh florals late, resulting in dead flowers, or any damages caused in shipping from the customer to the address of FDV. If the customer drys their own flowers, it is the responsibility of the customer to properly dry them. Any wilting/damage of pre-dried flowers before FDV receives them is not the responsibility of FDV. 3) If the flowers sent by the customer are completely damaged, and can not be dried the customer has the choice of either a refund, or customers florist to recreate the bouquet and send back to FDV. (wilted/brown flowers are not included in this term since they can still be used). 4)Depending on previous exposure, flowers can become transparent/brown once preserved in resin. 5)Flowers can become discolored & distorted in shape, after drying & also after being preserved in resin. For example, white flowers can turn ivory or yellow, red flowers can become darker, pink flowers can become purple). Pressed florals can also loose their shape & color & become brown. 6)Design options are only given for Floral Blocks & Hexagon orders & are a similar representation of how your design will look as they are put back together after approval. Add on items are up to artists discretion. 7)If customer would like any of their personal items returned that were given with their flowers, this must be noted by the day your flowers are received by FDV in writing, not be request to anyone but Vanessa. 8) Extra flowers are discarded 1 week after the customer receives completed order. 9) FDV uses UV resistant inhibitors but resin is still sensitive to UV rays & will gradually amber/yellow over a long period of time. It is the natural aging process of resin. Keep away from direct sunlight & heat to slow down the process. Ambering is to be expected and cannot be fixed. 10)Resin pieces are handmade & imperfections can arise due to the natural drying process (ex: holes/bubbles, imprints, etc.). 11) Trays are poured above flowers to create a flat surface, potentially to the top of the tray, unless requested otherwise. 12) FDV is not responsible for damage that occurs to finished products after customer receives it, especially after pick up and shipping. 13)If you applied the pick up discount for $10, you understand that you will be picking up your order at your requested location and will be notified via email once it is ready. If you change to shipping it will result in paying the initial $10 discount. 14)Customer has read and agreed to each products advised floral description on the order form. 15) FDV only dries the flowers needed for your order, no additional flowers are dried unless client pays a drying fee. 16) Changes can not be made to your order after FDV receives your flowers as flowers are only dried according to your order. 17) Orders can take up to 38 weeks to complete. Specific ETA will not be given. Customer will be notified once order is finished. If you are picking up updates are given via FDV directly. Shipping updates are provided exclusively via USPS email notifications. 18) Designs approvals are NOT awaited on approval unless option was selected on the order form & fee was paid by customer. Designs that are sent without design approval request/paid fee are marked approved after 5 days and put into production. Customer understands that the design & volume they selected, will be created (for floral blocks, trays & hexagons only) unless FDV needs to recreate a different design.. 18) Add-on items such as letter blocks, ring holders, coasters, etc. do not get design approvals, this is up to the artists discretion. 19) Customer understands that if specific direction is not given on their order (i.e: including specific flowers or items in a piece), FDV will create designs up to their discretion. 20) Customer agrees & acknowledges that terms can be updated and effective immediately at any time. 21)Customer understands if they do not pay for shipping insurance for whole order amount, it will not covered in the instance that a package gets lost / damaged during shipping. You understand that FDV is not responsible for how mailing system handles your package and if shipping damages/lost package occurs customer will not be reimbursed for any payments. Customer will need to file a with delivery carrier directly. 22) Customer agreed that if product does get damaged or lost in shipment, this is a risk that you are taking as the client. If item is lost customer can put a missing package & insurance in with USPS as this is not FDV's responsibility as FDV does not have any control at USPS. 23) If customer does not pay for insurance on shipping the customer understands FDV is not responsible for returning any funds to customer if package gets lost / damaged, etc. Customer must fill out their own with postal service if any issue does arise with the carrier. 24) Customer agrees and understands that add on items will not reflect their bouquet design but only use small flowers or petals if no small flowers are provided. 25) Customer understands that updates are not given throughout the resin process. Updates are only given for products 7" and bigger as well as pick up. Shipping updates are provided via the mailing system directly. 26) it is the customers responsibility to provide accurate email which FDV will send designs and updates. Failure to update your email will result in missed emails which is not FDVs responsibility. 26) Pressed frame florals will look different once dried, as all flowers change colors when dried. 27) Pressed florals will not be color corrected unless requested. 28) Color correction does not guarantee exact color replication (or matching) of your fresh flowers. Customer understand that the color correction process tints the florals to fading, hides browning, and adds vibrancy to the color of your original flowers. 28) Flowers that can not be color corrected include Snapdragon, Orange Orchids, Mums and Daisies, Stock, Grasses, Fillers with tiny blooms like misty, wax, and statice. These recommendations do not mean that these flowers wont press well.) 29) Pressed flowers can become discolored & distorted in shape and color after drying. 30) Color correction + resin: only available for white orchids, white calla lilies, and white + blush roses (typically used for trays, though I can also accommodate opening roses in a block if preferred). Customer must note in the additional comments (directed in the order form) if you would like flowers opened and color-corrected in a block as flowers are dried according to your order. Closed roses (in their natural state) cannot be color-corrected. You will be refunded if this is not noted on your order or if color correction can not be accommodated to your flowers. 31) The drop-off location is not guaranteed until the week of the event. Client must be prepared to drop off at one of the listed locations, or ship if requested location can not be accommodated. Any changes to pick-up arrangements do not ensure a specific drop-off location.

 

Returns, Damages, Cancellation Policies:

You must Notify & return item(s) to FDV within 7 days of delivery or pick up. If it is more than 7 days after the date item was returned/picked up- a refund or repair will be a void request as your order will be deemed as completed.

 

Instructions for damaged item(s):

  • ​Before returning your order to FDV, please email clear photos or videos of BOTH the product (all angels) and the package. This will determine if you must send it back to FDV for in-person observation.

  • You must use 100% of the original packaging when sending back the artwork to FDV for return. You, the customer will be responsible for postal shipping when returning to FDV. FDV is not responsible for any damage or postal issue when returning your order.

  • Depending on the circumstances FDV will observe provide feedback on next steps which include repair, or a partial refund. Full refunds will not be given, but if a full refund is decided (only on FDVs discretion) your item being refunded will not be returned to you. FDV can deny a return/repair request after observation if product meets all the terms in this agreement. I

  • If you selected for pick-up, you must drop off & pick up your order or pay the initial $10 shipping fee once observation is complete. You can also purchase insurance additionally.

  • If packaging image is not sent and if packaging is defaced in any way, as well as if the product is 100% original with no imperfections made by FDV & your product meets all the terms & agreements in this contract - a refund will NOT be issued.

 

Reasons for Return:

FDV will not regard problems caused by errors of customers, especially after 7 days. If the customer simply does not 'like' the piece but it meets all terms & conditions listed (ex: transparency & browning, discoloration of flowers, bubbles, small holes), third-party companies, government agencies (ie. postal service) or other reasons, as a reasonable reason for the return of goods FDV has the right to refuse the relevant return request. FDV will not bear any responsibility for losses caused by problems of customers, third-party companies, USPS, government agencies or other reasons. Important note for repair: Repairs may accelerate resin's natural aging process, leading to ambering or yellowing. If an item cannot be repaired, FDV will notify the client of next steps.

WHAT IF MY PRODUCT(S) GET DAMAGED OR LOST DURING SHIPPING OR PICK UP TRANSPORTATION?

If item(s) are damaged during shipping or pick Up transportation I will work with you the best I can to repair the piece, however if pieces are damaged during transit FDV will not be responsible for replacing them. This is very rare and each situation is handled with as much care as possible. Please read damage policy for more information:

Damage / Lost Item Policy:

FDV takes every precaution to ensure products are packaged with high-quality materials to arrive in perfect condition. However, FDV is not responsible for any damage or loss caused during shipping, delivery, or pick-up. Once items leave FDV, the company is no longer liable for their transportation. While shipping issues are rare, they are beyond FDV's control. Clients assume the risk of damage during transit, and refund requests for such instances will be declined. If a product is damaged and does not meet FDV's return/repair policy, it will be sent back to the client.

 

In the case of lost items, clients must file a missing package or insurance claim directly with USPS, as FDV is not responsible for issues caused by the postal service. Insurance is offered as an optional add-on on the order form; if it is not selected and paid for, it will not be applied to the order. FDV is not liable for covering insurance costs or handling claims on behalf of clients.

For items damaged during shipping, clients must open a USPS claim, photograph the damaged package and items, and retain all packaging and contents per USPS requirements.

If clients received a $10 discount for picking up their order, they are required to retrieve the item once their case is resolved.

 

 

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel within 3 months before your event date, the $150 deposit will be kept. If you cancel 7 days before your event, or anytime after your event, 50% of your total order will be kept due to FDV declining clients as FDV only takes a maximum amount of orders per week, canceling at short notice results in a loss of orders and materials to prepare for your order. In addition, the product for your order has already been purchased at this point. This means if you cancel anytime within 7 days or after your wedding you will receive 50% of your total order as a refund. Once your flowers are received by FDV you can NOT cancel your order. Refunds are not initialed 11 months after purchase for any reason.

 

By making payment, and signing the order form, the customer read & agrees to the terms & conditions listed in this contract.
